Practicing Life Skills leads to qualities such as self-esteem, sociability and to take action and generate change. It can give a person an opportunity to have the freedom to decide what to do and who to be. Life skills are the ability to be adaptive and use positive behavior to effectively meet every day life challenges. They are grouped into three categories: Cognitive skills for analyzing and using information, Personal skills for developing personal agency and managing oneself, and Inter-personal skills for communicating and interacting effectively with others.
